What's Included in the Trick or Treat Trek?

  • This is an outdoor event, so please dress warmly and bring waterproofs just in case. The weather might be chilling, but we’ll keep your spirits high!

The Trick or Treat Trek lasts approximately 1 hour.

As part of our family-friendly October half term events, the Trek or Treat Trek runs on Thursday 29th and Friday 30th October at 12.45pm and 3.45pm.

No, your ticket does not include a Classic Guided Tour, your ticket is for the Trick or Treat Trek only. If you would like to extend your visit to include a Classic Guided Tour too, please add this separately before checking out - please ensure you allow enough time for both experiences to avoid an overlap.

The Trick or Treat Trek is recommended for ages 4 and above, to ensure everyone can make the most of the experience. Children aged 15 and under must be accompanied by a paying adult. Please note that all attendees must have a ticket to take part.

Yes, the route we take is accessible. However, please be aware that some of York’s streets have cobbles, which may make certain sections more challenging for visitors using wheelchairs or walking aids.

The Trick or Treat Trek starts at York’s Chocolate Story in King’s Square before taking you through some of York’s most famous and historic streets. Please arrive 10 minutes before the start time.
